- When talking to the manager be courteous, confident, and professional
What are the steps in making a good first impression?
- Professional appearance
- Positive attitude
- Able to express yourself
- Practice introducing yourself to the manager
- Say your name, what position you are interested in, and why you would be good for the position.
List the type of job you are looking for
Identify and list three of your strengths
- Strengths should based on the type of job you are looking for and what the employer needs
- Be prepared to talk to the manager about your strengths
