Job Search Just For Students from About.com  has information on jobs for teens, including how to find a job, where to get working papers, where teens can work, what to wear for an interview, and how to obtain references.  Once you click on teen job search guide, it will lead you finding your first job, how to write a resume, what is a resume, summer jobs, reference letters, interview tips and apparel, job applications, and also it links you to other teen job search engines.

You can access the internet for a job search at these locations:

Visit your school’s Career Center

  • Computers are available in public libraries and local housing authorities

Visit the employer

  • You have identified an employer
  • Go to the jobsite or make a phone call
  • Always speak to a Manager about job opportunities
